40年前的1969年是摇滚乐历史上里程碑式的一年，这一年举行了摇滚史上最重要的音乐节 —- Woodstock(15-17, Aug)。而这一年诞生的许多重要的摇滚专辑。

另外也是在1969年，Brian Jones在离开The Rolling Stones几个月后，被发现死在游泳池中，年仅27岁(又一个完美的27)。验尸官最初判断Jones是在药物和酒精的作用下淹死在泳池中，而一直以来却流传着Jones可能是被谋杀的传闻。

Foo Fighters的精选辑Foo Fighters Greatest Hits将于11月3日发行，精选辑中将包含乐队的两首新歌: Wheels和Word Forward。精选辑中的The Pretender, All My Life, Learn To Fly, Best Of You, Times Like These, My Hero和Everlong曲目将进行剪辑。

Chris Cornell与Virgin America航空达成交易，将为Virgin America航空的所有航班提供音乐，乘客可以在飞机上听Scream，观看Cornell的视频，或在登机听到Cornell的声音播报。但其并未说明协议是否包括Soundgarden, Audioslave或Temple of the Dog的音乐。

包括Jim Morrison的大门乐队最后四场在Big Apple举行的演唱会将发行成6碟装专辑: Live in New York。

将于10月13日发行圣诞专辑Christmas in the Heart，专辑将包括具有节日特色的曲目，如Must Be Santa, Little Drummer Boy, Winter Wonderland和Here Comes Santa Claus。

Neil Young和Joan Baez将在多伦多电影节期间免费演出，Young将出现在9月14日的The Neil Young Trunk Show北美首映式，Baez将随后出现在16日的American Masters – Joan Baez放映式。

Norah Jones招募的Ryan Adams, Will Sheff及其他Tom Waits的乐队Mule Variations的成员，来录制即将在11月发行的第四张录音室专辑。与之前的专辑不同，Jones用原声吉他代替了钢琴来进行歌曲创作。

新买了5张CD，除了Massive Attack外和Alison Krauss外，全是年过半百的老家伙，但专辑都是比较新，按发行的时间顺序，依次为：

其中Raising Sand和Together Through Life的碟比较奇怪，15块/双碟，竟然还是铁皮盒的包装，盗版的话成本铁盒成本多高。但开苞之后才发现里面实在是粗糙了点，几乎plain text一样的歌词，一块海绵垫底，碟就随便塞进电脑城里买刻录碟的那种塑料皮里。原来铁皮壳是用来抬身价的。另外的三张封套上都有可恶丑陋的黄标，还好里面还不错。

虽然CD包装不那么光彩，但买CD时的感觉还是很不错的，其实现在无论想听什么，异常发达的网络上总是能找到下载资源，只是疯狂下载的时候总是感觉少了点什么东西，不止是被打烂了的CD盒和里面花花绿绿的歌词印刷本，还有那种苦苦希望拥有，而后在某一大箱垃圾的角落中突然发现后的那种欣喜若狂，如获至宝的感觉。想起曾经买到Jane’s Addiction的Kettle Whistle打口带时足足兴奋了一个多星期。而相比之下，下载下来的mp3之类数字音乐只是些没有灵性的死物。

掏到的CD，磁带就象是已经喜欢了很久的姑娘，最终在喜结良缘共渡良宵的时刻，心中会充满幸福和满足感；而网上下载的歌，获得方式是如此的容易，就像是洗头房，按摩屋里皮肉工作者，可以轻而易举的多次的与之发生关系，但永远也不会有什么甜蜜美好的回忆(知音杂志里的传奇故事例外)。

一份两页手写诗的原稿日前在Christie拍卖行进行拍卖，该诗作者的名字是Bobby Zimmerman，或者在摇滚名人堂里被称为Bob Dylan。这份手写诗歌“Little Buddy”是年轻的Dylan在50年代中期创作的，而令人吃惊的是当时的Dylan仅是个年轻人，却写出如此有影响力的作品。Dylan手中的Zimmerman蓝色钢笔讲述了一个心爱的小狗因友善的对待一个醉汉而被打死的悲伤故事，诗歌中的主角等待着医生到来救小狗的性命，但不幸的是医生却来的太迟。

故事是令人心碎的，但值得注意到有趣现象是，即使是年轻的Dylan也不能避免误用your作为you’re的语法错误，写道“Your too late sir my doggy’s dead.”（艺术家的选择？）“Little Buddy”的全诗如下：

Little Buddy

Broken hearted and so sad
Big blue eyes all covered with tears
Was a picture of sorrow to see

Kneeling close to the side
Of his pal and only pride
A little lad, these words he told me

He was such a lovely doggy
And to me he was such fun
But today as we played by the way

A drunken man got mad at him

• Bob Dylan的发言人确认，Dylan的新专辑Together Through Life的十首歌曲中, 除This Dream Of You外, 其余九首的歌词是与Grateful Dead的词作者Robert Hunter共同完成，另外，除My Wife’s Home Town是Dylan与Willie Dixon合作外，其他歌曲的音乐部分由Dylan完成。

• Tinted Windows——由Taylor Hanson(Hanson)，前碎瓜吉他手James Iha，Fountains of Wayne的Adam Schlesinger和Cheap Trick的鼓手Bun E. Carlos组成的超级组合，将于4月21日发行乐队首张专辑Tinted Windows。 “整张专辑是写个强力流行乐的情书——像是从Weezer到the Knack到Big Star——简单的，吉他主导的歌曲。”Taylor Hanson称。

• Michael Jackson成功地制止将于4月22日开始的Neverland庄园拍卖，此次拍卖将包括2000多件有重大纪念意义的收藏品。

• David Lynch为Moby新专辑Wait For Me中的曲目Shot in the Back of the Head制作视频短片，Wait For Me预计于6月30日发行。
