英文经典

10多年时在家里的小音像店里总能找到一打以上的不同版本的“英文经典”磁带，里面的歌曲几乎都差不多，不重复的歌曲不会超过5首，普遍会包含的曲目有： Rhythm of Rain: 我买的第一张英文经典的第一首歌; Yesterday Once More: 从那个时代较洋务的高中生到如今很土的大学生，都会唱; I Just Call to Say I Love You: 老黑盲人Stevie Wonder; Rivers of Babylon: 最讨厌的一首歌，光是听Boney M这个名字就感觉很不爽; Right Here Waiting: 今天想到这歌只感觉Richard Marx是美国的阿毒; 另外与奥斯卡有点关系的有： Unchained Melody: 那时候感觉太棒了，太深情了; I’ll Always Love You: 开始那几句和当时国内的流行歌曲比起来很惊艳; Casablanca: 仔细的琢磨品味就会觉得很有味; Everything I Do(I Do It For You): 配上电影片段，这歌能让人很high The Sound of Silence: 直到今天还特别喜欢，虽然小吉他伴奏想顺畅弹下来不容易，但唱方面还能容易点，所以特适合卡拉OK; 唉，这些歌伴我度过了无忧无虑、傻呵呵的初中岁月

George Harrison – While My Guitar Gently Weeps

自从去年12月初在MAO看了致敬Beatles的演出后，便疯狂喜欢上了这首“While My Guitar Gently Weeps”。搜到了这首歌的acoustic版本，别有风味，而且视频下面还随唱显示歌词。歌词与原版有点出入，当我看到“I’m sitting here doing nothing but aging”时，之前逐渐积攒下的这种温柔忧伤的感觉立刻爆发并把我感染崩溃了。 George Harrison太酷了。

The Kinks – Sunny Afternoon

近来又迷上了The Kinks。与Beatles和Rolling Stone一样，Kinks也是出现在黄金般60‘s的乐队，但他们最有名的那首“You Really Got Me”可一点也不像那个远古时代的作品，第一次听时，我莫名其妙地感觉这歌应该是被放在99年的那次Woodstock上演唱的，直到看了Kinks的原版视频，竟然还是黑白的。 目前在mp3中保存时间最长的歌是Kinks的“Sunny Afternoon”，这倒是一首规规矩矩的典型60’s的民谣。我一向对在歌词中包含“Summer”、“Summertime”的歌有种特殊的好感，可能是源于Janis Joplin那首经典的“Summertime”，我感觉“Summertime”是个有着无限美好含义同时又没法翻译的一个词，好到单单这一个词就能使人迷幻的浮想连篇… Summertime, and the living are easy… Morning found us calmly unaware/Noon burn gold into our hair/At night, we swim the laughin’ sea… 同样，Kinks的这首歌也使人感到轻松惬意。 可这首歌唱夏日时光的小曲中的环境却是在冬季，这四个傻乎乎的青年… Sunny Afternoon The tax man’s taken all my dough, And left me in my stately home, Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
